OBI Naturals Hair Care Product Review
I am happy I got the chance to try these products because I heard good things about them. I looked at their ingredients and instantly got excited. I think you will too. Below is my review and how I used each product.
OBI Natural Hair Product Review |
Ingredients:
Saponified Oils of Coconut, Palm, Castor bean, Safflower; Shea Butter, Vegetable Glycerin, Purified Water, Rosemary Essential Oil, Sorbitol, Soybean protein, Sorbitan Oleate, Fragrance.
Promises:
This rich moisturizing shampoo will leave your hair soft, conditioned, and hydrated. Shea butter deeply moisturizes and repairs damage to hair and scalp, while coconut oil protects hair from heat and chemical damage.
Price: $10
My Review:
Initially I was not looking for a new shampoo as I felt like I already found my staple after trying lots of products. I have eczema so shampooing weekly has to be apart of my routine. I only use Sheamoisture Curl and Shine shampoo because it does not strip my hair. However I decides to give this a try and I am glad I did. It lathered a lot and that's something I love from a no-sulfate shampoo. Ok; so you might not believe me but this shampoo was so moisturizing I could detangle. I finger detangled with this shampoo. When have you ever detangled with shampoo easily? Also, the bar is huge so this will last a long long time. $10 is a very good price considering you will be using it for a long time. I will recommend wrapping the bar in foil paper or plastic bag and storing in a cool place. Do Not store in the shower. I Love this shampoo bar!

My Review:
I was excited to try this product because I need my hair to be moisturized at all times. The more moisturizing products I have the better. After shampooing with the shampoo bar I conditioned my hair with Herbal Essense Conditioner then apply the OBI moisture cream. The cream is extremely light. My hair sucked it right up and it felt supple and moisturized. My hair remained soft days after. It moisturized my hair and kept it like that for days. I kept touching it. No need to re-moisturize daily.

My Review:
To me this custard is really a gel. It defines and holds like nobody's business. Lol! An added bonus is that my hair did not have any flakes like I would get with a gel. I am not a gel person but I its great because its not harsh like regular gels that have alcohols in it. All natural! My edges loved it.
The directions said to use a generous amount but I think I used too much at first so I tried it again. It was still crunchy but that is to be expected from a styler/gel like this. You do not have to use a lot to get great definition from this product. I also recommend applying to wet hair instead of when its damp. The product would be distributed better. If you are a wash and go person this is perfect for you. Perfect wash and go styler.
It left my hair dry and crunchy which I did not like too much because I wash once a week during the winter so I prefer soft hold that don't need me to rewash. I like soft touchable hair. After two days I rewashed with the Shampoo Bar and moisturizes with the moisture cream and my hair was perfect for the rest of the week.
Can't wait for the summer so I can try wash and go styles with this custard. For now its my edge control.

My Review:
I used this is to refresh my hair in the morning and to rewet when retwisting. The fragrance was a little too much for me. Very very flowery. If you feel like your hair is hard this can bring it back to life. Softened my hair while styling my hair dry.
